Fishing

The Fish Pond is open only to members and guests in accordance with the Club Guest Policy. Your membership card must be displayed while fishing. PA Fish and Boat Commission regulations apply and a corresponding PA fishing license is required.
The Annual Kids Fish Rodeo will be held on Saturday April 8, 2023 running from Noon until 3:00pm. The event is open to children and grandchildren age 15 and younger of Members in good standing and under their supervision during the event. The pond is stocked with trout, and snacks and drinks are provided, along with numerous prizes awarded.
The 2022 prize winners were:
- Colby Henderson – 1st fish caught – boy
- Grace Diebler – 1st fish caught – girl
- Dominic Weiland- 1st 3-fish limit caught
- Hailey Keith – Longest fish caught – 18.5″
- Laiklyn Lloyd – Heaviest fish caught – 2.1 lbs
Between the winter stocking in October and the April Fish Rodeo, catch and release fly fishing with barbless hooks only is allowed. Please take care to ensure all fish are released alive and unharmed.
From the April Fish Rodeo until the winter stocking in October any tackle is allowed and (3) trout only per member per day may be kept.
Large algae eating carp are placed in the pond to help control weed growth. Other fish species exist as well and no fish other than trout may be removed from the pond and kept. Please carefully release alive and unharmed any species other than trout.
Camping, swimming, boating, ice fishing and fishing with a bow and arrow is strictly prohibited.
The pond area closes at dark. Please keep off the overflow grate and inlet wall at all times.
Some portions of the pond bank drop off sharply and are slippery – please use caution.
Please use all provided trash containers and help keep the pond area free from debris.
